Our Approach to Happy Valley Wildlife Control & Extermination
1. Inspect & Analyze
Before we begin any work on your Happy Valley home, our expert wildlife exterminators start with a complete and thorough inspection of your home. We’ll look for:
- Cracks and holes in the foundation
- Signs of animals in your yard
- Damage to shingles and siding
- Signs of infestation in your attic and crawl space
- Anything else that might lead us to believe animals are nesting or living in your home or on your property
Once we’ve finished our inspection, we’ll talk to you about what we’ve found. We’ll answer your questions and if needed, create a follow-up extermination and prevention plan.
There’s no point in exterminating wildlife if you’re not going to stop the problem where it starts. Without preventive measures, animals will just keep coming back, again and again. Keeping animals off your property is an essential component of any successful Pacific Northwest wildlife treatment plan.
We’ll seal and reinforce even the smallest holes and gaps to prevent future intrusions. We leave nothing to chance and keep an eye on the smallest details. If bigger or more technical repairs are required, we’ll partner with our sister construction company to get the job done.
If an infestation is found, our Happy Valley wildlife exterminators will make use of professional traps and capture methods to remove critters from your house and property. For example, our bat removal system uses a one-way “BatCone.” Bats can leave, but can’t get back inside. By using targeted removal and extermination methods, we get rid of pests and keep your family and pets safe at the same time.
Inspection. Exclusion. Extermination. When you work with the experienced Happy Valley wildlife exterminators at EcoCare Pest Control, it is just that simple.

Frequently Asked Questions
“Where do you work? Will you come out to my house?”
Our experienced exterminators work throughout the Portland and Vancouver metro areas. Our Happy Valley wildlife specialists will gladly come out to your home and generally offer free, no-obligation quotes.
“Why do animals come into my home?”
Wild animals are always searching for shelter and food. Unsecured garbage cans are extremely enticing to animals. Additionally, any hole allowing animals to enter your crawl space or attic is an opportunity for them to explore and create a nest. These are just a few of the ways animals may come to infest your property.
“Can pests like Raccoons and Possums hurt my dogs and cats?”
Small animals like Raccoons or Possums will generally not attack unless provoked or cornered. However, a mother will aggressively defend her brood. Otherwise, most creatures are nocturnal, so they’ll be most active when your pets are inside at night. If you’re dealing with critters around your home, don’t try to remove them yourself. It can be dangerous. EcoCare specializes in Raccoon and Opossum extermination.
“Can you get Bats out of my home?”
By law, Bats are protected during their nesting and mating seasons in June, July, and August. No matter the time of year, if you suspect you have a Bat problem and need a Happy Valley Bat exterminator, contact us and we can discuss your Bat removal options.
“How do you get rid of the Bats in my attic?”
We use a special device called a “BatCone.” Think of this as a one-way door to let Bats leave, but not return. Once we are sure all Bats have left the attic, we can proceed with the exclusion work to permanently seal the opening and prevent future entry.
“Do you perform all your work and repairs in-house?”
Nearly all of our prevention and repair work is performed by our in-house technicians. We also have a sister construction company to tackle larger and more technical repairs as needed. The only exception is electrical damage, which we subcontract since it requires a special license.
“What do you do with the captured animals?”
For most species, we are required by law to euthanize them. We always use the most humane methods possible, which allows the animal to fall asleep and become unconscious before passing away a few minutes later.
Great company with amazing employees. Jimmy is always so helpful and answers all my questions. Even brought our dogs treats. Such a nice guy and always great to see him. Great job controlling pests and come out anytime we have any issues. Glad we found them!
