Wildlife Exterminators in Portland
Are you experiencing any of the following in your Portland home?
- Noises in your attic or under your house
- Holes or dug up vegetation in your lawn
- Problematic wildlife on your property
If so, you may have a problem on your hands and need the help of our experienced Portland wildlife exterminators!
Mammals found in the Pacific Northwest such as Raccoons, Squirrels, Opossums, and Bats might seem small and harmless, but they can cause big problems for your home. Portland homeowners often deal with destroyed property, chewed electrical wires and pipes, and structural damage. Not to mention that these pests commonly carry a plethora of various bugs and diseases.
Protect your home and your family and tackle these issues right away using preventative and eco-friendly methods. EcoCare’s Portland wildlife extermination and control team is here to help.
Our Approach to Wildlife Control & Extermination
1. Inspection & Analysis
Before any treatments are performed on your home, our experienced Portland wildlife exterminators will conduct a thorough inspection of your home. Examining the foundation and exterior of your home for cracks and holes, we’ll make sure to find any possible access point for pests and wildlife to get in. Our team will then take a look at your crawl space, attic, and landscape for any signs of a wildlife issue.
Once, we’re done, we’ll explain our findings to you and design an extermination and prevention plan that will actually work.
Keeping animals out of your home and off your property is the foundation of a successful Pacific Northwest wildlife treatment plan. Holes and gaps must be thoroughly sealed and reinforced to prevent future entry. Our wildlife exterminators leave nothing to chance. If larger or more technical repairs are needed, we’ll partner with our sister construction company to perform the necessary work.
3. Careful Wildlife Extermination
Depending on the results of our inspections, our Portland exterminators will implement a series of professional traps and additional capture methods to remove the critter from your house and property. For instance, our bat removal system involves installing a one-way “BatCone” that allows Bats to leave, but not re-enter. These targeted removal and extermination methods are designed to be highly effective while still keeping your family and pets safe.
Inspect. Exclude. Exterminate. When you work with the experienced Portland wildlife exterminators at EcoCare Pest Control, wildlife removal really is that simple!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you work? Will you come to my home?
Our experienced wildlife exterminators work throughout the Portland and Vancouver metro areas. Our Portland wildlife specialists are happy to come out to your home, and generally offer free, no-obligation quotes.
What attracts wildlife to my home?
Wildlife of all types spend most of their time looking for shelter and food. Unsecured garbage is extremely attractive to wildlife. Secondly, any opening into your crawl space or attic space offers opportunity for them to see what’s available. However, it’s possible that your home will attract curious wildlife even if it doesn’t have either of these problems.
Can critters like Raccoons and Possums hurt my pets?
Small wildlife like Raccoons or Possums will generally not attack unless they are cornered and feel threatened, or in particular, a mother protecting her babies. Otherwise, they’re nocturnal, so they are most active when your pets are likely inside your home. If you’re dealing with critters around your home, don’t try to remove them yourself! It can be dangerous. Our team specializes in Raccoon removal and Opossum extermination.
Can you remove bats all year round?
We cannot. By law, Bats are protected during their nesting and mating seasons. No matter the time of year, if you suspect you have a Bat problem and need a Portland Bat exterminator, contact us and we can discuss your Bat removal options.
How do you get rid of the Bats in my attic?
We use a special device called a “BatCone” which is a one-way door that allows Bats to leave, but not re-enter. Once we ensure that all Bats have left the attic (or any other enclosed space they’re using), we can proceed with the exclusion work to permanently seal the opening and prevent future entry.
Do you do all your prevention and wildlife damage repairs in-house?
Virtually all our wildlife prevention and repair work is installed by our own technicians. We also have a sister construction company that performs larger and more technical repairs as needed. The only exception is electrical damage, which we subcontract since it requires a special license.
What do you do with the captured animals?
For most species, we are required by law to euthanize them. We always use the most humane methods possible, which allows the mammal to fall asleep and unconscious before passing away some minutes later.
Great company with amazing employees. Jimmy is always so helpful and answers all my questions. Even brought our dogs treats. Such a nice guy and always great to see him. Great job controlling pests and come out anytime we have any issues. Glad we found them!
